This recipe creates a very healthy homemade oatmeal with a terrific nutty flavor.. With the addition of some fruit and yogurt your kids will love it, too! this recipe keeps well frozen so I usually make a big batch the keep some in the fridge, the rest in the freezer.
Ingredients:
1 Recipe as per box, Irish Steel-Cut Oats
Directions:
1. Follow box instructions.
2. Add healthy ingredients to make this more of a meal. Dried fruit, yogurt, flax seeds, maple syrup.
Chef’s Note: Oatmeal is a great canvas for additional healthy ingredients, such as yogurt, walnuts, flax seeds, fruit, etc. Make a big batch, then portion and freeze.
