This easy to make apple sauce recipe takes minutes and tastes delicious. Use fresh apples for the best results.
2-3 local apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 tablespoon local honey
pinch grey sea salt
1/4 cup water
1. Put all ingredients in a non-reactive pot (stainless steel or enameled cast iron), cook over low heat covered until tender.
Chef’s Note: Serve with oatmeal, over ice cream, with pork, turkey or turkey sandwiches, heck, eat it straight up!
