A simple chocolate Ganache sauce made with melted high-quality chocolate and heavy cream. Delicious on cakes, pastries and many other dessert items.
7 ounces dark chocolate high quality
1 cup heavy cream
1. In a saucepan, bring the cream up “to the scald” (just under boiling), being careful not to let it boil over.
2. With a serrated knife, cut the chocolate into small pieces and move them into a work bowl.
3. Pour the hot cream into the bowl and stir to melt the chocolate.
