This simple recipe produces a legendary sandwich that is perfect for upcoming BBQ weekends. Tri tip is easily acquired and makes perfect sliced meat for this sandwich….the sauce, heck it takes 2 minutes flat…so make that too..Here is another great trip tip recipe and video too…
1/2 cup Daisy sour cream
1/2 cup Just Mayo
3-4 tbs prepared horseradish
salt to taste
crushed black pepper
2-3 lb tri tip roast
1 tbs oil
copius amouts of salt and pepper..or …better yet the best damn steak seasoning anywhere
8 oz washed nad dryed arugula
- Rub the meat with oil, then season the tri-tip with salt and pepper or the steak seasoning of your choice.
- Grill the meat to your likeness, set aside to cool to room temp. Can be made the day before and used cold.
- Apply sauce (which is just mixed together in a bowl) to the sliced onion rolls, add a handful of arugula wich has been lightly salted and tossed w lemon, then add sliced tri tip.
NOTES- The sauce is just mixed together until smooth, the arugular is ONLY tossed when sandwiches are ready…a little salt, lemon, toss, then use on the sandwiches.
