On friday June 29th 2012 Chef Keith Snow was featured on the Paula Sands Show on KWQC TV in Davenport Iowa. The live segment featured the chef demonstrating a simple seasonal pasta dish.
The site has great editorial content and regular updates.
My interview was mainly about the benefits of home canning and preservation. I spoke about the Ball Canning Jar company….I love home canning and I think all people should have more involvement in their food. Canning is a great weekend project that the whole family can take part in. Canning tomatoes is a great way to start. Check out the interview here…
There is a great little social network and podcast hosted by Lynn & Barry Morgan called The Simple Good Life Network.
On episode 11 and 12 Chef Snow was featured and interviewed by the Morgans. Barry & Lynn are passionate about the same type of issues that Harvest Eating strives to solve. You can hear the episode by visiting this page and you can also subscribe to the show in i-Tunes.
Chef Snow was recently interviewed on the wildly popular Survival Podcast .
The show is about environmental issues, gardening, economics, survivalist lifestyle and much more
The show has a loyal following of “preppers” who are changing their lives to make sure if times get tough, or even if they don’t, they will be prepared for anything.
Two recent cookbooks demonstrate a trend that’s becoming more popular with those who have little time to cook, yet still want to put something fresh and delicious on the dinner table. They are “The Harvest Eating Cookbook” (Running Press, $29.95) by chef Keith Snow and Giada at Home (Clarkson Potter, $35) by Food Network celebrity Giada De Laurentiis.
What they have in common is that they are both tie-ins to TV shows and feature plenty of pretty pictures of food. Yet neither has little writing in them to rob you of an extra second to spare. Read the rest of the article here…
